Good to know before you start.
Do my guests need to install an app?
No. Guests open a link in their phone's browser. Nothing to download and no account to create.
What is a "check", and what if my guest doesn't finish?
One check is one guest verification: Aadhaar and driving licence from DigiLocker. If the link expires unopened, or the guest shares nothing and gives up, the check is returned to you (limits apply). A guest you've already verified in the last 90 days doesn't cost another check.
Do you take a commission on my bookings?
No. Zeracar is software you subscribe to. Guests pay the advance straight to your UPI, and you handle confirmations, cancellations and refunds yourself.
Who can see my guests' details?
You do, as the host who ran the check. Other hosts see a short history such as how many times a guest was verified, plus feedback notes. They do not see Aadhaar or licence details.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. Your booking page and ID checks can run on a domain you own, such as rent.yourbusiness.com. You buy the domain in your name and we help you connect it.
Is there a mobile app?
Zeracar runs in your phone's browser, and you can add it to your home screen for one-tap access. Booking alerts work on Android and desktop. On iPhone, add it to your Home Screen first.
Do I still need my permits and insurance?
Yes. Zeracar is software. You remain responsible for your vehicles' registration, permits, insurance and rental terms, so please check the rules that apply to your cars.
How does the partner network work?
Invite hosts you trust and choose which of your cars to share, with your own partner rate. You can see their free cars, request one, and both calendars block automatically. Partners never see your guests, prices or earnings.
What does the Free plan include?
The Free plan includes 2 guest checks a month, a booking page for 2 cars, and 1 partner host with 1 shared car. Paid plans add more cars and checks, hourly pricing, document sharing, the Money tab and more.
